I am the weirdest mix of plotter and panster. I mostly get inspired to start a story by a single line. It could be an opening line, a line of dialogue, or even an ending line. I grab that line, and I start to spool in a whole plot. After I have the bones of a plot where the hero and heroine are just a basic caricature with a role and a basic backstory, motivation and goal...then comes the fleshing out. That said, I must say that my writing process is dictated by the demands of each book. For instance writing the first book in Celestial Academy was nothing like writing the next book. There's always similarities to my process whether the book is an opening one in a long series, or the last one, but that's the beauty of writing. You're always free to adjust your method and get the most out of your story every single time you craft a tight, entertaining and addictive book.

I got a line ringing in my head of my heroine saying, "What's a girl to do when the Apocalypse ends in having Hell–and Heaven—on earth, and she's a Demon-Owned about to be decommissioned? Why—sell drugs, of course." And the whole story took off from there. I am currently hard at work on Book Two and Book Three at once. I am aiming at releasing every book in the series three months apart.

I have five books planned for Wen and Godric arc. But if all goes well and there's enough demand, I will tell the stories of the other beloved characters too.
